Ganalyzer - A tool for morphological analysis of galaxy images
Ganalyzer is a command-line utility that gets a path to a galaxy image (24 bpp tiff), and returns the morphological classification of the galaxy, as well as other information such as the center, radius, roundness, slopes of the arms, and more.
Ganalyzer currently works with MS-Windows. To use ganalyzer, download the binary executable file ganalyzer.exe and type "ganalyzer -h" for instructions.
The executable file needs the following run-time DLLs, which should be copied to the same directory where ganalyzer.exe is located:
A set of galaxy images (Spiral, Elliptical, and Edge-on) can be downloaded here.
